Author Ellen Gilchrist has captured the essence of love, longing and life through her short stories, novels and essays. She won the National Book Award for Fiction (1984) for "Victory over Japan," a collection of short stories. Her novels include "The Annunciation" (1983) and "The Cabal"(2000). This discussion is a rare opportunity to see this writer.
