Tour: Mnemonic Devices with Rachel Jones and David Webber

Join artists Rachel Jones and David Webber for a tour of their current two-person exhibition Mnemonic Devices: Rachel Jones and David Webber. The two Louisiana-based artists working in painting (Jones) and video (Webber) explore the process of selecting and assembling information from memories and pre-existing documents into new visual amalgams. The New Orleans-based Jones has exhibited her work locally at The Front, as well as in New York and Austria. Webber is Assistant Professor of Media Art at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and has exhibited his work in numerous international film festivals.

The film is part of the Mid-Week in Mid-City series of public programs on Wednesday evenings, when the Museum stays open until 8 p.m. As always, a cash bar will be available from 5-8 p.m.
